FELLOWSHIP FOR CHANGE 2024
this past week, weddingpro's fellowship for change class of 2024 was officially announced, and i am thrilled to share that i have been selected to be a part of it! i have known about this for a few weeks now, and it still feels surreal. i recall discovering the program, but unfortunately, the application window for the 2023 class had closed just a few days prior. when the application window opened for the 2024 class, i applied immediately!
about a week before receiving my acceptance notice, i randomly wondered when they were going to announce the new class, and i said to myself, "i know i’m going to get it!" there wasn’t a doubt in my mind. i forgot about it, and one week later, i was selected and offered the opportunity to join the fellowship for change class of 2024. my heart BURST! you can see my reaction when i found out below. please note that this was originally intended for my close friends, and there is some use of profanity. i just wanted to share how ecstatic i was.
i have always felt proud to be a self-taught small business owner. like many independent and badass women, i wear many hats, but at times, i find myself feeling lost, confused, and overwhelmed. did i file my sales & use tax on time? how can i market my business by posting on socials every day when i don’t have enough imagery to share? questions like these have debilitated me on numerous occasions. as a self-motivated person, i am always looking for more opportunities to learn, empower, and grow.
as a fellow, i'm joining a twelve-month program that gives pros in their first years of business the opportunity to pursue their passions and accelerate their growth. i am most looking forward to learning from my mentor and scaling my business. i am so GRATEFUL and HAPPY for this opportunity. 2024 will be my year, and it is going to be so BEAUTIFUL!!!
